ATELIER 10 provides space, materials and support to artists who, owing to their social situation, are not able to work independently in a cultural milieu.
Opened in January 2012, ATELIER 10 is located in the former Ankerbrot factory in Vienna’s tenth district. It includes a gallery for exhibitions and a studio which artists can use free of charge and for an unlimited time. It has space for around 25 people. ATELIER 10 also supports creative individuals who work outside its studio, in both public and private spaces.
Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein supports the facility as part of its arts and cultural sponsorship activities.
