Bátor Tábor is a Hungarian organisation that supports seriously ill children. It is part of the SeriousFun Children’s Network established by Hollywood star Paul Newman.
Each year Bátor Tábor organises a series of free, therapeutic recreation programmes for children suffering from serious illnesses. Every summer the organisation also stages an international camp for seriously ill youngsters from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. A total of 8,000 children have taken part in the camps to date.
Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein supports Bátor Tábor in the form of an annual cooperation, which enables the organisation to stage the international camps. Hungarian Group company UNION Biztosító also collaborate closely with Bátor Tábor.
