Vienna’s Konzerthaus is one of the top venues on the international music scene. Every year, it stages an extremely wide-ranging and diverse programme of events, including around 520 organised by the Konzerthaus itself and over 55 subscription concerts. The schedule covers all forms of classical music, as well as orchestral, choral and chamber music, evenings devoted to piano music and songs, concert opera performances and children’s concerts, as well as literary, jazz and folk music events.
The Konzerthausgesellschaft – the operator of the Konzerthaus since it opened in 1913 – is still run as a private, non-profit association. This underlines the importance of our support for the venue.
