On Monday evening, 7 April, the exhibition ‘Moderne in Krakau’ (Modernism in Krakow) was officially opened in the Ringturm by Dr. Aleksander Miszalski, Mayor of Krakow, in the presence of numerous international guests. The exhibition is part of Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein’s ‘Architektur im Ringturm’ series and showcases modern architecture in Krakow. Using texts, photographs and plans, it highlights two defining eras: historical modernism (1919–1939) and pluralistic modernism from 1989 onwards.
The ‘Modernity in Krakow’ exhibition can be enjoyed free of charge at the exhibition centre in the Ringturm (Schottenring 30, 1010 Vienna) until 20 June 2025.
