A tribute to Austrian literary great Christine Nöstlinger was held at the start of November. TV star Ursula Strauss and actor Christian Dolezal read excerpts from Nöstlinger’s poetry collection “Iba de gaunz oamen Leit”. The duo also performed song settings of selected poems. The audience was captivated by the blend of lugubrious and cheerful gems of Viennese dialect poetry. Musical accompaniment came courtesy of star pianist Béla Koreny.
