On 10 October, the latest instalment of Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein’s Kunst im Turm series at the Ringturm turned the spotlight on the land of the rising sun. Michael Dangl and Maria Fedotova staged an entertaining evening of cultural highlights from Japan.
Actor and author Michael Dangl and flautist Maria Fedotova put on an enchanting evening of literature and music for the audience, who had accepted an invitation from Günter Geyer, Chairman of the Managing Board of Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein. Music by well-known composers from Japan – where the arts have been shaped by various influences from Asia, Oceania, China and the Western world – formed the backdrop for a programme of stories, fairy tales and poetry.
