Chanteuse and entertainer Mercedes Echerer rode the waves of the Danube from the Black Forest to the Black Sea with a performance entitled Wellentanz in early May. Together with acoustic trio Folksmilch, the actress gave her interpretation of songs and stories from the Danube region with a vocal and dance presentation. A mesmerising homage to Europe’s second-longest river, a section of which can be seen from the 20th floor of the Ringturm.
