Ringturm

In 2013 a work by young Slovakian artist Dorota Sadovská made a big impression on Vienna’s cityscape. She was the second artist from one of Austria’s neighbouring countries to be commissioned for the project.

“On a clear day you can see our neighbouring capital city Bratislava from the top floor of the Ringturm. I am especially pleased that this year an artist born in Bratislava is transforming our headquarters into a work of art. The fabulous title Verbundenheit [Ties] expresses our deeply-felt friendship with Slovakia and all the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. It also reflects the values that we hold as an insurer: togetherness, security and stability,” said Günter Geyer, CEO of Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein.
