The opening ceremony for the fourth covering of the Ringturm took place at the beginning of July 2011, with Xenia Hausner’s Familiensinn (Sense of Family) adorning the facade of the building over the summer.

“Many Viennese people and a great number of tourists will come face to face with this giant canvas. I’m absolutely delighted that Xenia Hausner is the artist for this year’s project. Her work Familiensinn touches on topical social issues that are also relevant to us as an insurer,” said an enthusiastic Günter Geyer, CEO of the Vienna Insurance Group.
