Caritas kids campaign
At the start of each year, Caritas launches a children’s charity campaign that raises money for youngsters in some of Europe’s poorest countries. The campaign is designed to raise public awareness of needy children in Central and Eastern Europe who live in deplorable conditions. The donations are channelled to the Caritas Children’s Centres, where youngsters receive warm meals and help with their schoolwork. The support provided by Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein is used in various ways, including campaign promotion activities: billboards and other forms of advertising draw attention to the situation faced by children in need. Thanks to this additional source of financial support, all of the money raised by the campaign goes directly to the various projects. On-site project support Each year, Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein also makes a donation to a specific regional project. In recent years, the company has provided funding for Caritas children’s facilities in Ukraine, Serbia, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova.
